In response to the abrupt interruption of working environments due to COVID-19, Red Roof plans to begin offering day rates for remote workers. The Work Under Our Roof program will be available at select properties Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. with same-day check-in and check-out.
"An unprecedented number of workers are now required to work remotely and options are very limited during this time,” Marina MacDonald, chief marketing officer at Red Roof, said in a statement. “With locations in major cities nationwide, we are opening our doors to help Americans find a solution that works best for them and allows them to continue their professional obligations close to home.”

No more than two guests will be allowed to check in to any one room under the day rate. Guests can book through the Work Under Our Roof program now through May 15 for any time through May 31. A full list of participating properties is listed here.
In addition to its Work Under Our Roof program, Red Roof also recently launched its Student Support Program, which provides displaced students in search of alternative housing with a 30 percent discount.
