For the week of April 17-23 (percentage change from comparable week in 2019):
- Occupancy: 65.8 percent (-4.2 percent)
- Average daily rate: $148.35 (+15.4 percent)
- Revenue per available room: $97.66 (+10.5 percent)
In comparison, for the week of April 10-16:
- Occupancy: 62 percent (-5.6 percent)
- ADR: $147.25 (+14.4 percent)
- RevPAR: $91.25 (+8 percent)
Top Markets
Among the top 25 markets, Tampa, Fla., saw the highest occupancy (+3.4 percent to 78.1 percent) and ADR (+38.5 percent to $203.40) increases over 2019. Minneapolis experienced the largest occupancy decrease from 2019 (-21.1 percent to 53.8 percent).
The steepest RevPAR deficits were in San Francisco/San Mateo (-24.8 percent to $131.69) and Minneapolis (-22.7 percent to $62.00).
