Chartwell Hospitality plans two new Nashville-area hotels

Chartwell Hospitality has purchased land in the Nashville suburbs of Brentwood and Lebanon, Tenn., to open two new-build hotels in partnership with Rockbridge. The company will develop a TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Brentwood and a Home2 Suites by Hilton in Lebanon, and will manage both properties.

The TownePlace Suites in Brentwood will have 120 guestrooms with full kitchens, outdoor community patios with grills, an on-site laundry, a fitness center, an outdoor pool and a lobby marketplace. Chartwell worked with Boyle Investment Co. to rezone the existing office building parcel to allow for hotel use, and will demolish the structure by the end of 2022. The firm plans to break ground on the hotel’s construction in the spring of 2023.

The company will concurrently break ground in Lebanon for the 120-room, extended-stay Home2 Suites. The hotel will have laundry and fitness areas, multiple outdoor spaces, 24-hour business centers and community spaces.

“As Nashville grows and draws more tourists and new businesses, so do its surrounding towns and cities. We are excited to bring these two new hospitality options to the Brentwood and Lebanon communities and continue to support the growing tourism in Middle Tennessee,” Will Schaedle, EVP of Chartwell Hospitality, said in a statement.
