First look at Prague's Innside by Meliá

Ahead of next month's opening, Meliá Hotels International has released the first images of the Innside Prague Old Town, its latest property and first hotel in the Czech Republic's capital.

The property will have 90 rooms, a gym, an open lobby for social gatherings, a cinema, a recording studio and a wellness studio. Looking to attract both business and leisure travelers, the hotel is 15 kilometers from the Vaclav Havel International Airport and walking distance from metro, bus and train stations.

"Innside Prague Old Town will be one of the first hotels to offer all of the new attributes and sustainable features of this stunning and fast-growing brand, which adds up to the attractiveness of this amazing city," said Gabriel Escarrer, EVP and CEO of Meliá Hotels International.

The brand portfolio has 38 hotels in 20 countries, 20 in operation and 18 in the pipeline. Looking to capture millennials, Meliá has been expanding into resort-led destinations; half of its business is in the resort sector.

Beyond Prague, the company has several other Innsides slated to open across Europe this year and next:

Innside Milan - Italy

Scheduled to open at the end of 2019, the hotel will have 145 rooms, meeting rooms, a gym and a restaurant.

Innside Paris - France

When it opens in February, this property will have 266 rooms next to the Roissy airport.
