PPG Development opens kosher-friendly hotel in Miami

The Altair Hotel has opened in Miami Beach. The property is owned by PPG Development and managed by real estate investment and hospitality management company Highgate.

The 96-room boutique property has designs created by Interiors by Steven G with a modern coastal beach house aesthetic. The studio, one-bedrooms and two-bedroom corner suites have floor-to-ceiling windows and contemporary furnishings in light, neutral tones. Additionally, larger suites are appointed with full kitchens.

Amenities include a rooftop pool and whirlpool with cabana-style seating. The lobby has indoor and outdoor waterfront viewing located near the fitness center. The hotel also provides bicycles, scooters, kayaks and paddleboards for guests to use during their stay.

Additionally, The Altair Hotel Bay Harbor caters to the Jewish community through its daily kosher breakfast and Shabbat elevator. The Altair Hotel Bay Harbor will soon get a dedicated kosher restaurant and will roll out a property-wide kosher cuisine program that will include in-room dining and poolside service.

The Altair Hotel Bay Harbor is close to Bal Harbour Shops, Aventura Mall, Miami Beach, Fort Lauderdale International Airport and Miami International Airport.
