Colorado resort reopens following $40M renovation

The Viewline Resort Snowmass, a ski-in/ski-out property in Snowmass Village, Colo., has reopened following a multimillion-dollar renovation. The property has new interiors and exteriors, enhanced culinary offerings and curated guest programming.

The resort has 254 guestrooms including 20 suites, the Lupine Spa, an Ayurvedic wellness destination, a private ski and bike concierge, a kids’ club, a heated mountainside pool with sundeck and terrace, an onsite fitness center and 24,000 square feet of combined special event space at the resort and adjacent Viewline Event Center. The property also has multiple restaurant and bar options.

Hotel design and development firm The Gettys Group oversaw the renovations, giving the resort a 1960s flair. The firm's Chief Innovation Officer Ron Swindler has a history with the region, having worked on Viewline Resort Snowmass 20 years prior. Davidson Resorts, the operating vertical of Davidson Hospitality Group, manages both the resort and on-site dining.

The resort offers access to a range of seasonal activities such as snowshoeing, uphilling, snowbiking, fly fishing and golfing.

Viewline Resort Snowmass has the most function space in Snowmass-Aspen, with 12 venues on-site and at the adjacent Viewline Event Center. The property can host groups of up to 500 in the nature-inspired facilities.
