KSL Capital Partners, Hersha Hospitality close $1.4B deal

KSL Capital Partners has closed its acquisition of Hersha Hospitality Trust, according to a new U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing.

The deal, which was announced in August, will see the REIT delisted from the New York Stock Exchange on Dec. 11.

Hersha Hospitality owns and operates luxury and lifestyle hotels in coastal gateway and resort markets. It has 25 hotels, totaling 3,811 rooms, with properties located in New York, Washington, D.C., Boston, Philadelphia, south Florida and California.
