Alfred Sanzari Enterprises, a family-owned and operated commercial and residential real estate firm, has started a capital improvement project at the Glenpointe Marriott, a 351-room full-service hotel on the company’s Glenpointe corporate campus in Teaneck, N.J. The project is scheduled to be completed in the fall of 2024.
Overseen by Alfred Sanzari Enterprises' in-house construction management team, in collaboration with HotelStudio and Kimmerle Newman Architects, the extensive capital improvement project will modernize the hotel’s 39,317-square-foot meeting and event space. Taking inspiration from the nearby Palisades Interstate Park, the design will combine natural touches with a contemporary feel. The plans call for the replacement of carpeting, wallcoverings, paint and furniture throughout the first- and second-floor pre-function spaces, boardrooms and meeting rooms as well as the 1,200-person capacity ballroom. Soho Art Consulting also collaborated with Alfred Sanzari Enterprises and HotelStudio to commission artwork from New Jersey artist Leena Joshi and others to complete the design transformation.
The Glenpointe Marriott is one of three hotels on the Glenpointe live-work-stay corporate campus, which includes the 350-room, Hampton Inn & Suites and Homewood Suites dual-branded hotel constructed in 2018.
