Ara Designs renovates InterContinental David

InterContinental David Hotel

The InterContinental David Hotel in Israel completed a more than $4 million renovation project that was done with Ara Design International. The main focus of the renovations involved the 135 club rooms, 15 suites and the public areas of the third floor.

For the suites, improvements included new smart alarm systems, docking stations, and MoroccanOil and Sabon bath products.

In the club rooms, the Ara Design International incorporated a residential-style design. Each club room is approximately 355 square feet with views of the Mediterranean Sea. The rooms have a working desk and a lounge area, 37-inch flat screen television and a white leather double door closet. There is also a separate bath and shower.

The suites have a living area or intimate dining area. Other elements include a king-size bed, bespoke furnishings, wardrobe space, jet walk-in rain shower and soaking tub.

The 1,356 square feet Tel Aviv Suite has views of the Mediterranean Sea and the city of Tel Aviv/Jaffa. The living and entertaining area is a stylized interpretation of the Tel Avivian urban retreat, featuring bespoke furnishings and accessories, a collection of curated books and art, and a kitchenette with a separate service entrance.

The master bedroom has a bed facing floor-to-ceiling windows. A marble en-suite bathroom has a dry sauna, Jacuzzi tub and a jet walk-in rain shower.

Inspired by its location overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, the InterContinental David Tel Aviv has 555 guestrooms (39 of which are suites), including the brand new Tel Aviv Suite and two Royal Suites. Various dining options include the Aubergine gourmet restaurant and Inca Casa del Habano Cigar bar. Hotel amenities include the outdoor swimming pool with sun deck and pool bar, and an upgraded spa and fitness center.
