Arizona Omni to launch Spanish-inspired renovation

The Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia in Scottsdale, Ariz., is set to renovate its guestrooms and meeting spaces. The resort’s multimillion-dollar update was inspired by quintessential Spanish architecture and the surrounding desert landscape.

The phased renovation will begin with the resort’s 293 guestrooms and 38 suites, drawing inspiration from the concept of an oasis in the desert. The re-imagination includes new entry door finishes that are secured with RFID, new lighting and drapery, refreshed paint palettes, new furniture—including sofas with cactus silk pillows, coffee tables and Spanish-inspired desk chairs—homemade ceramics and fresh artwork, new decorative bedding, LED mirrors and new bathroom accessories.

Drawing inspiration from an Andalusian Courtyard, more than 100,000 square feet of meeting areas will be redesigned to add a pre-function space. The individual meeting rooms extending from this space will have distinctive color schemes and furnishings while maintaining the Spanish inspiration.

The updated meeting space has new carpeting as well as new wall coverings and paint creating a contrast between light walls and dark ceilings. The hotel will add new artwork added throughout all function areas along with fresh banquet chairs and tables.
