DiLeonardo upgrades nature-inspired Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Suites

Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Suites completed a refresh of its 224 suites, with Rhode Island-based hospitality interior design firm DiLeonardo leading the makeover project. Operated by TPG Hotels & Resorts, the hotel is located within Atlanta’s business district and is near the downtown.

The DiLeonardo team included Christopher Henderson, its project director. The company also collaborated with Mark Harris Lighting, Birchwood Design Group on landscape and structural engineers Odeh Engineers on the upgrade to the facade and port cochere.

The hotel is located in an area encompassed by vegetation. The design concept is based on characteristics of the city, such as the local foliage and tree canopies. According to Jordan Batty, senior designer, DiLeonardo, the new design concept redefines the hotel in a way that contributes to the already established “city in a forest” feeling that most people experience when visiting Atlanta.

The design team redesigned the guestrooms and guestroom corridors, with updated finishes, furniture and art. The bathrooms received a slightly lighter touch and the public spaces underwent an FF&E refresh, including new furniture, carpet, wallcovering and lighting.

The new guestroom design has a residential feel and features earth tones. The design also draws the outside in through textured carpet and fabric patterns that resemble park elements and natural outdoor textures. In addition, the refreshed guestroom corridors now have artwork of tree canopies and textured carpeting reminiscent of an outdoor path.

Each of the property’s 520-square-foot suites has a balcony, separate bath and shower, Serta mattress, microwave, refrigerator and coffeemaker. The suites also have a 42-inch HDTV in the bedroom and a 49-inch HDTV in the living room. Select suites offer a Whirlpool tub and an extra bed to accommodate up to six people per suite.

Hilton Atlanta Perimeter Suites is located off of Interstate 285 at 6120 Peachtree Dunwoody Road, Atlanta, Georgia, near the CNN Center, Centennial Olympic Park and Lenox Square Mall.
