Karisma Hotels & Resorts, in partnership with Paramount, has updated the Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic, including the Aqua Nick waterpark. Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana’s phase one will officially be unveiled in spring 2024, with the opening of two new offerings.
The Snick Lounge is an upscale, 90s-inspired space located in the former Vino Vino restaurant that includes an arcade game room, sports lounge and live music venue. The space has design elements from the brand's biggest hits of the era with a contemporary twist. In the former Doppio space, The Sweetery serves coffee and ice cream with design inspired by the cartoon cat Garfield.
Throughout 2024, additional resort enhancements will include in-room art updates and character-themed culinary experiences. Aqua Nick, the resort's waterpark, will include a new main entry, two pools with a slide tower, restrooms, splash games and sun beds with large umbrellas.
Visitors have complimentary access to Nickelodeon Place, interactive character experiences, signature Sliming events and the Gourmet Inclusive Experience by Karisma.
