The Diplomat Resort & Spa Hollywood, Curio Collection by Hilton in Hollywood, Fla., is scheduled to reopen in late 2016, following renovations to the property.

In late 2014, Thayer Lodging Group, a Brookfield affiliated company, acquired the property, allocating $100 million for a makeover and rebranding project with design firm Korn Design. Upon completion, the property will have new rooms, more than nine restaurants and bars, and completely refurbished lobby and public space.

Also involved in the rebranding is Harrison & Shriftman, which will handle all public relations, hotel partnerships, specialty programming and ongoing events. Meanwhile, culinary will be handled through a collaboration with Howard Wein Hospitality and Bullfrog + Baum.
