Moncur Design Associates enhances Hyatt Regency in Kentucky

Hyatt Regency Lexington

Hyatt Regency Lexington completed the renovation of its 366 guestrooms, 20,000 square feet of meeting and event space, hotel lobby and restaurant, BlueFire Bar & Grill. The property located in downtown Lexington, Kentucky is connected to Rupp Arena, Lexington Convention Center and Lexington Complex shops.

Moncur Design Associates handled all the design details for the renovation.

The upgraded Hyatt Regency Lexington now has an interior design inspired by Kentucky’s topography. Artwork depicting the state’s history of horse racing is found throughout the hotel.

Guestrooms include workstations, new furnishings, as well as granite bath with KenetMD bath amenities. Offering views of the city, Triangle Park or the atrium of BlueFire Bar & Grill, Hyatt Regency Lexington has 360 guestrooms and six suites with separate living, dining and work areas.

The property has more than 19,000 square feet of meetings and event space, and 4,500 square feet of pre-function space complete with two ballrooms and 17 meeting rooms. These meeting rooms are adjacent to Lexington Convention Center and the 23,000-seat Rupp Arena, which also offers more than 130,000 square feet of event space that Hyatt Regency Lexington has access to for planning events.

The property’s restaurant, BlueFire Bar & Grill, has a new layout that showcases a more simplistic design.

Managed by TPG Hospitality, the new design of Hyatt Regency Lexington is a part of TPG Hospitality’s national portfolio improvement plan, which includes the renovation and in some cases rebranding of properties.

Situated in the Bluegrass Region, Hyatt Regency Lexington has an indoor heated pool, business center and a 24-hour [email protected] gym.
