The second renovation of the Roosevelt hotel in New Orleans is nearly completed, expected to be completely wrapped up in the coming months. by
Interior design firm Paradigm Design Group Restored, renovated and designed the new look for the Roosevelt New Orleans, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel, which was damaged by Hurricane Katrina in 2005.
As part of the redesign, Paradigm Design Group will be showcasing local artworks in the hotel in an effort to preserve the unique culture of the hotel, once frequented by many of Hollywood’s biggest stars.
The Sazerac Bar, located in the hotel, will showcase original Paul Ninas artwork. Dedicated to honoring the city and hotel’s culture and uniqueness, Paradigm Design Group conducted research and reached out to Ninas’ family upon finding his original hand sketches. His family granted the firm permission to use/purchase this artwork and frame it for display in the hotel.
Paradigm Design Group is also working with The Roosevelt on further renovations of the guestrooms and public areas.
