To strengthen its sales processes, A-1 Hospitality Group recently put its group business in the cloud with a multiproperty hotel sales and catering software system from SalesAndCatering.com. A-1 Hospitality Group owns and operates five properties in Washington and Oregon. It will add two new hotels, including a Holiday Inn Express, in 2020.
“The need to have remote access to all our hotels from one screen drove our decision,” Preena Patel, administrative director for A-1 Hospitality Group, said in a statement. “We also wanted a system that had powerful functionality for our event sales processes and was easy for our team to use. STS Cloud has an excellent event-planning tool and meeting-space calendar. We expect to have the Opera 2-way [property-management system] interface in the future for our IHG properties."

SalesAndCatering.com also offers its STS R premises-based sales and catering system. "Some of our team used the STS R system and were excited about upgrading to the cloud system," Patel said. A-1 Hospitality Group also uses the ProposalPath automated proposal-creation tool from SalesAndCatering.com.
