EVPassport has brought on hotel guest experience designer and leader Robert Michael deStefano to help expand the company’s hospitality vertical and promote its mission to empower and inspire electric car adoption.

“We are excited to have Robert join our team at EVPassport,” said Hooman Shahidi, the company’s president and chief revenue officer. “His credibility and knowledge will help us add a new dimension to our hotel vertical offering. We believe that EV charging will be a core component of the guest engagement portfolio and EVPassport is leading the way with its open API integrations, allowing hotels to use infrastructure as a way to deepen the quality of the guest experience.”

DeStefano is known for developing signature guest experiences that include wellness products and services for the guestroom, the hotel spa and the home. He believes that hotels are in a key position to influence and facilitate EV expansion in North America and beyond.

“Hotels have always been trendsetters and thought leaders, whether in style, fashion, food, and most recently, wellness and sustainability.” deStefano said. “As hotels grow their electric vehicle charging service with EVPassport’s innovative EV chargers for hospitality, they are encouraging more drive-up business while also actively participating in improving our environment ... a huge win-win!”
