Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort in Cherokee, N.C., recently deployed the Cloud5 high-speed internet access solution from Cloud5 Communications into the 1,100-room property and will now be extending the deployment as part of an expansion project scheduled to open later this year.

Located on 56 acres in the Great Smoky Mountains, Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort has nine restaurants, the 18,000 square foot Mandara Spa, nine retail shops and a 3,000-seat event center. The resort’s new convention center and hotel tower, set to open later this year, will add 725 hotel rooms, new restaurants and 83,000 square feet of convention space.
