Hotel Effectiveness wins ALIS Tech Challenge

Hotel Effectiveness was named the hottest hotel technology of 2020 at the Americas Lodging Investment Summit. Hotel Effectiveness was one of 10 hotel technology companies to showcase their products.

Other participants included myDigitalOffice, Tripleseat, Beekeeper and Revinate. Hotel Effectiveness' labor-management software was recognized as this year's winner by a panel of judges from the industry. Judges were: Robert Alter, president, Seaview Investors; Rob Hays, co-president/chief strategy officer, Ashford; Bradley Koch, CTO, HEI Hotels & Resorts; and Shawn Tuli, EVP of investments, Hersha Hospitality Management. Rob Torres, managing director of Google Travel and host of this year's ALIS Tech Challenge, highlighted two Hotel Effectiveness product offerings: PerfectLabor, a complete labor-management system designed exclusively for hotels and hotel management companies, and MyHotelTeam, the new mobile app for hotel employees that provides instant access to schedules, shift changes, time-off requests and other critical staff communications.

"Winning this year's ALIS Tech Challenge is not only a testament to our innovative tech solutions but a reminder that rising labor costs and high turnover rates continue to trouble hotel owners and operators," said Mike Martin, the company's co-founder/CEO. "We're honored to be recognized by the panel of judges as the leaders in hotel technology with the strongest tools to solve these critical business issues."
