MiloX Robotics has expanded into the hospitality sector with a portfolio of service-focused automation designed to ease labor pressure and improve operational efficiency across hotel properties.

The Michigan-based robotics company is bringing autonomous mobile robots and automated guided vehicles to hotels, positioning the technology as a way to remove time‑consuming, back‑of‑house tasks from staff workflows so teams can spend more time focused on guests. The solutions are designed for flexible deployment across full‑service, select‑service and resort environments.

According to MiloX Robotics, the robots integrate into existing hotel operations to support transport and delivery functions that typically draw staff away from guest-facing activities. Use cases include room service and amenity delivery, linen and towel transport, housekeeping supply replenishment, laundry and waste movement, concierge support for guest requests, and other back‑of‑house material handling needs.

The company has AMRs for dynamic, people-heavy environments and AGVs for more structured, repeatable routes, allowing operators to tailor automation based on property layout and service demands. MiloX Robotics said this hybrid approach enables hotels to deploy automation without reengineering their entire operation.

“Our mission is simple: give time back to people,” Founder Larry Mason said in a statement. “Automation should remove the tasks that pull teams away from guests, allowing staff to spend more time where they create the most value—delivering memorable experiences.”

MiloX Robotics positions the technology as a tool to help hotels address persistent staffing challenges while maintaining service standards. By taking over routine transport tasks, the robots are intended to help reduce staff strain, optimize workflows and improve overall efficiency without eliminating the human element of hospitality.

The solutions are built for use across a range of hospitality environments, including hotels and resorts, assisted living and senior hospitality communities, conference and event venues, large hospitality campuses and mixed‑use properties. The company emphasized that deployment is designed to be flexible, allowing properties to scale automation as needs change.

MiloX Robotics plans to showcase its hospitality solutions at upcoming industry events and is offering workflow analyses to help operators identify where automation can have the greatest operational impact.
