Nomadix earns Marriott’s approval for gateway

Nomadix's EG 1000 internet gateway has earned brand approval by Marriott International for use at select service brands, including Four Points by Sheraton, Courtyard, Residence Inn, SpringHill Suites, Fairfield Inn & Suites, TownePlace Suites, Protea Hotels, AC Hotels, Element, Aloft and Moxy.

The EG 1000 builds on the normal Nomadix features and functionalities but into a compact format and a lower price point that makes it appealing for smaller properties. The solution provides resilient, secure and compliant connectivity, enabling personalized experiences with multiple plan and service options.

The companies expect the gateway to provide frictionless Wi-Fi connectivity to more easily stream shows, make video calls and play games. As such, they expect the service to reduce troubleshooting calls to associates.

“We have been the trusted internet gateway provider in hospitality for more than 25 years," said Mike Gray, global VP of strategic partnerships at Nomadix, in a statement. "The brand approval by Marriott of this product is a testament to the value, reliability and performance our portfolio is known for. Guests should feel at home wherever they travel, and enabling a connected, seamless experience at any hotel level is our priority and promise to the market.”
