Sabre has acquired hospitality e-commerce provider Techsembly. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Techsembly has a fully automated e-commerce solution that aims to help global hotels to manage multiple online property stores, products and logistics on one centralized platform. In addition to its marketplace, Techsembly sells and fulfills gift cards for hoteliers.

"Not only will this acquisition accelerate our product roadmap via Techsembly's marketplace and gift card capabilities, but it also enables us to come together and offer the most robust and effective suite of integrated retailing solutions designed to meet the retailing needs of today's modern hoteliers."
Sabre Hospitality's SynXis Retail Studio lets hoteliers sell a range of products and services as part of room reservations. This will provide more opportunities to create additional revenue streams beyond the room, differentiate their brand further and increase guest satisfaction. By combining and integrating Techsembly's e-commerce marketplace and gift card capabilities with SynXis Retail Studio, Sabre will create a single destination that offers an unlimited number of product types at all stages of the guest journey—replacing the need for hoteliers to manage multiple sites and providing a seamless guest experience while accelerating revenue.

As part of the transaction, Sabre will add Techsembly's talented e-commerce experts and developers to the company. Based in the U.K. with offices in Singapore and Hong Kong, Techsembly has a growing customer base and a strong presence within the luxury hotel segment.
