Vertical Booking adds 1,400 hotels in 2016

Vertical Booking, a leader in global reservation technology, added its revenue generating solutions to over 1,400 hotels in 2016. This includes over 600 hotels in Asia, 200 in the United States and another 600 spread across the globe.

“Vertical Booking continues to expand and grow worldwide because of our robust CRS, a world-class channel manager, and the best in class service. We are constantly striving to improve performance by analyzing new technologies to determine how they can drive significant incremental revenue,” Mark Lewis-Brown, CEO/president of Vertical Booking USA, said in a statement.

“It's a really, really great tool, and honestly, at a fraction of the cost of most other reservation technology suppliers we looked at," Al Munguia, GM of the Jupiter Hotel, Portland, Ore., said in a statement.

Vertical Booking also rolled out two services the first quarter of 2017 to improve communication with customers and prospects. The first initiative is an email service to provide the company's clients with regular targeted updates.

“We want to proactively support our customers and assist them in being more successful at reaching their revenue objectives,” Rebecca Ramsey, USA client service manager at Vertical Booking, said in a statement. “For example, we recently notified our customers whose inventory or pricing wasn't up to date and provided short tutorial videos and guides to help them make the necessary changes. Conversely, those clients whose inventory is current, did not receive the message, therefore we’re not wasting their time with an email that doesn’t apply to them.”

The second initiative is the implementation of a real-time chat feature integrated with the www.verticalbookingusa.com website. This feature enables a site visitor to reach a representative quickly to get the answers they need promptly and efficiently. Additionally, the service allows the visitor to enter their email address to continue the conversation off line if necessary.

“The real separation is with the customer service, the attention to detail, and the interaction between the property and the account manager at Vertical Booking; I would highly recommend their services.” Doug Collins, CEO of Hospitality Lodging Systems, Atlanta, said in a statement.

Vertical Booking will be exhibiting from March 8-12, 2017, at ITB Berlin, Germany Travel Trade Show. The company's exhibit will be located at Hall 10.1 Stand 101.
