Dauntless Capital Partners buys Maryland Hilton Garden Inn

Dauntless Capital Partners has purchased the 216-key Hilton Garden Inn Bethesda (Md.) Downtown from Bethesda Hotel Associates, an affiliate of The Donohoe Companies. The purchase price was not disclosed. 

“We are incredibly excited about the acquisition of the Hilton Garden Inn Bethesda, which we believe is a premier submarket within Washington, D.C. This investment, which is the final acquisition of Dauntless Capital Partners Fund I, L.P., builds upon the portfolio that we’ve constructed of high-quality select-service and extended stay assets,” Jordan Benudiz, VP at Dauntless Capital Partners, said in a statement.

This hotel joins two others in the Washington, D.C. area within the Dauntless portfolio. Dauntless has selected Twin Bridges Hospitality to asset manage for the hotel, its 16th in total.

The Hilton Garden Inn Bethesda Downtown is one block from the Bethesda Metro Station for easy access to downtown D.C. Public spaces at the hotel include the Garden Grille & Bar, a fitness center and four meeting rooms with 1,662 square feet of event space. It is set to undergo an immediate ​renovation to of its guestrooms and public spaces, including the lobby and dining options.
