The Country Inn & Suites property in Detroit Lakes, Minn., was sold by DL Hotel Group in a deal facilitated by Marcus & Millichap.
Built in 1996, the 45-room hotel is situated on 1.73 acres on U.S. Highway 10 and was recently renovated. The South Dakota-based buyer plans to continue operating the property as a Country Inn & Suites. The hotel provides access to Detroit Mountain Recreation Area, the Heartland State Trail and more than 400 lakes within a 25-mile radius.
Joseph Ferguson, Jon Ruzicka, Reed Gizinski and Brock Banken—investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Minneapolis office—had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller and procured the buyer.
