The 128-room Hilton Garden Inn Seattle/Bothell has been acquired by SMJ Management in a deal arranged by HREC Investment Advisors.
The four-story, Washington property is two miles from downtown Bothell. The city—situated along the Sammamish River on the northeast side of Seattle—is known for its riverfront location adjacent to commercial corridors. Specifically, Canyon Business Park is roughly one mile from the hotel and is the site of numerous companies including Microsoft, AGC Biologics, Seagen/Pfizer and Portal Space Systems.
SMJ Management is a private family-owned investment group and hotel management company. HREC Investment Advisors exclusively represented the seller on this transaction. The marketing and negotiations were led by Chris Stein, SVP, Denver; Jeffrey Duni, SVP & broker on record for Washington; and Clara Griffin, associate, Denver.
“The hotel represents an excellent opportunity for this local owner/operator to grow their portfolio and add value to the hotel,” stated Duni.
