AVR Realty Company and affiliates of Dimension Hospitality sold the Homewood Suites Lafayette (La.) Airport and Home2 Suites Parc Lafayette (La.) to Om Shanti Om Twelve and Om Shanti Om Thirteen. Other terms were not disclosed.The sale was executed by Hunter Hotel Advisors' team, including SVPs Tim Osborne and Kami Burnette and VP Mason McDavid, acting on behalf of the seller.
Spanning a total of 235 keys, the Homewood Suites and Home2 Suites are centrally located in the heart of Lafayette. The hotels are situated less than 15 minutes away from the Lafayette Regional Airport and near to the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, an educational institution serving 19,000 students.
“We are honored to represent ownership on these high-yielding and well-maintained hotels in Lafayette,” Burnette said in a statement. “The buyer is a significant regional owner who plans to improve his economies of scale within the Hilton system.”
