Hunter Hotel Advisors brokers sale of two Carolina Hilton hotels

Hunter Hotel Advisors represented CN Hotels, a Greensboro, N.C.-based hotel company, in the sale of the 89-room Home2 Suites I-77 South in Charlotte, N.C. and the 100-room Hampton Inn & Suites Southeast/Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C. A private equity firm based in the Northeast along with Schulte Hospitality Group, out of Louisville, Ky., purchased both hotels.

“We were able to garner a tremendous amount of traction for these assets  because of their superior quality, which CN has a reputation in the industry for developing,” said Lee Hunter, COO, Hunter Hotel Advisors. “Both REITs and private equity companies were interested in these strong cash flowing hotels.” The new owners will complete minimal renovations to the hotels and plan to keep the existing flags.”

“Hunter did a great job in presenting this off-market deal to a select few groups,” said Mitul Patel with CN Hotels. “As we continue to upgrade our portfolio, we look forward to working with the team at Hunter on future transactions.”

Hunter's national brokerage offices specialize in full and select-service hotels including  portfolios and individual assets for clients ranging from REITs and investment banks to regional hotel owners.
