Brandywine Complex has sold the Best Western Plus Brandywine Inn & Suites in Monticello, Ind., with Huff, Niehaus & Associates representing the seller. The property sold for $5.75 million with an automatic transfer of the Best Western Plus brand to an investment group with other franchise hotels. Brandt Niehaus, president of Huff, Niehaus & Associates, represented the seller and assisted the purchaser in the transaction.

Brandywine built the hotel in 2002 equidistant from Chicago and Indianapolis, capturing visitors from both markets. Situated on more than 5 acres, the complex has the 59-room hotel, the Brandywine reception and meeting center and the Sculptures sports and fitness center. Amenities include a fitness center, tennis/pickleball courts, an indoor basketball/volleyball court, a ballroom and a meeting and reception center with seating for up to 400.
