Atlanta-based boutique hotel investment group Ridgeline Acquisitions has purchased the 1927 Lake Lure Inn & Spa, a western North Carolina landmark hotel, from Lake Lure Properties. Ridgeline assumes management of the property with the purchase. The property was purchased for $11 million, according to WLOS Asheville/Greenville. Other terms were not disclosed.
The sale includes the 72-room hotel, the Arcade Commerce Building, the Keeter home and acreage, the lrongate salon and spa, multiple restaurants, professional offices and public spaces. All operations will continue uninterrupted during this transition.
The Lake Lure Inn & Spa is a 72-room historic hotel originally opened in 1927 on Lake Lure, N.C. Ridgeline is planning extensive renovations at the property expected to deliver in 2026/2027. The hotel will remain open during any future renovations. Lake Lure is a mountain lake adjacent to Chimney Rock State Park, N.C.
