Hospitality America to manage SpringHill Suites Roanoke

Hospitality America, a third-party hotel operator and asset-management company, has been selected to manage the 127-room SpringHill Suites by Marriott Roanoke, Va.

The hotel was recently acquired by Windsor Aughtry Group, a commercial real estate developer and brokerage firm headquartered in Greenville, S.C. This is Windsor Aughtry Group’s second hotel in Roanoke. The company developed the nine-story, 127-room Hampton Inn & Suites Downtown Roanoke that opened in 2016, which is also managed by Hospitality America.

“Our people are the core to our success and the team at SpringHill Suites Roanoke are the embodiment of what we endeavor to achieve,” Hospitality America COO Ben Campbell said in a statement. “We are excited to have the SpringHill Suites Roanoke team, led by General Manager Neil Ordway and Director of Sales Joy Barlow, join the Hospitality America family. They have a proven track record and an exceptional product, consistently ranking among the top SpringHill Suites in performance and guest satisfaction.”

The SpringHill Suites Roanoke is close to downtown Roanoke, Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Roanoke Valley Greenways, and the Berglund Center. The 127-suite hotel completed a renovation in 2018. Each suite has a pull-out sofa bed and designated workspaces. The property has a bar and 856 square feet of meeting space to accommodate functions of up to 50 people.
