With the Sheraton Indianapolis City Centre poised for a renovation and rebranding to a Renaissance hotel, Remington Hospitality is expanding its third-party management portfolio.
The 378-room hotel—located on Monument Circle—was recently acquired by Chicago, Ill.-based Keystone Group, which recently unveiled plans for a multi-phase renovation and repositioning project. The downtown property features meeting and event space, a rooftop pool, onsite dining venues and access to the Indiana Convention Center, Lucas Oil Stadium and downtown Indianapolis' business and entertainment districts.
"The combination of a landmark location, significant reinvestment and an experienced ownership group creates a strong foundation for success,” Ben Perelmuter, president of Dallas, Texas-based Remington Hospitality, said in a statement. "We look forward to working alongside Keystone Group to enhance the guest experience, support the property's evolution and drive meaningful results for the asset over the long term."
The renovation will include redesigned guestrooms and suites, updated meeting and event spaces, enhancements to the rooftop pool area, new food-and-beverage concepts, parking facility improvements and upgrades to public spaces. The hotel is expected to remain open throughout the renovation and rebranding process.
