Inspired by old pulley systems: Murphy by Troy Lighting

Troy Lighting has launched Murphy, which was inspired by old pulley systems.

A rustic wood-block-and-tackle with iron hook is suspended from a canopy and chain by a loop of manila rope. A seeded blown glass diffuser shaped like a large bulb is hung from the assembly. To create the unusual shape, the glass is blown directly inside the iron frame, which acts as a mold, and stays intact, thereby adding another element to the design. The light source is dropped into the center of the glasswork.

The series is also offered with an oversized, vintage iron factory-inspired shade that creates a totally different look. It is available in two sizes in each variation.
