Inspired by textures and surfaces: Craigend by Brintons

Scottish design duo Timorous Beasties has launched their third collection with Brintons. Named Craigend for the road name of the Glasgow Timorous Beasties studio (and birthplace of the collection), the line was also inspired by the Old Gaelic word “Creag,” meaning rock.

The collection is inspired by textures and surfaces found on the ground including sand dunes, stone moss and aerial views of landscapes, all reimagined in Brintons’ blend of 80 percent wool and 20 percent nylon.

Brintons Carpets is a supplier of woven carpets to the hospitality, marine, gaming, leisure, private and public sectors. Brintons Carpets’ product portfolio includes woven axminster and wilton broadloom carpets, tiles and hand-tufted rugs. The company operates wholly owned ISO14001-accredited facilities in India, Portugal, the UK and Poland.
