Technical solution: Mandalay collection by Casadesús

Casadesús has launched the Mandalay collection.

Designed by G. Vegni and G. Gualtierotti, Mandalay is a seat range based on one single-seat cushion with padded upholstery in staggered rows. This makes it a technical solution to avoid the appearance of wrinkles on the seat cushion. The proportions of its armrests and backrests, as well as the thickness of the seat, make it an ideal centerpiece. The collection incorporates numerous measurements, chaise lounge and poufs in order to create all kinds of combinations. There is also the “extra-large” version that provides 15 centimeters more seat depth and can be combined with the regular version.

The structure is in wood and polyester varnished tubular steel. The wood is covered with polyurethane foam with different densities and polyester fiber. Seat cushion is in high resilience polyurethane foam with different densities covered with silicone polyester fiber. Meanwhile, the back cushions have a protective case and internal divisions. It is filled with white duck feathers and down.
