The property will also be home to an indoor/outdoor rooftop bar and restaurant overlooking Casco Bay, a first for the New England coastal city.

Fathom Companies will develop and manage the property. The development firm is in the approval process with the city, Historic Preservation Board and Planning Board and anticipates approvals in the second quarter 2019 with a fall construction groundbreaking and spring 2021 opening.

Amenities will include mobile check-in and complimentary Wi-Fi, and on arrival, guests will receive a welcome gift inspired by the Old Port neighborhood.
