My Place Hotels, TGC Group sign multidevelopment deal

My Place Hotels of America and Wichita, Kan.-based hospitality development, investment and management firm TGC Group have implemented a multiple-development agreement that will expand TGC’s portfolio of hospitality assets from a single My Place Hotel to 10 locations by 2027.

“As a franchise organization, My Place is all about creating balanced value and fostering relationships. Nick and the team at TGC Group are strong performers in all things hospitality, their organization is vertically integrated, and their focus is on people. So it was very easy to identify the great fit between TGC and My Place,” said Ryan Rivett, president and CEO of My Place Hotels of America.

“At TGC Group we have experienced a tremendous pattern of growth in the extended stay segment and as we continue to grow, we are excited to enter into a strategic partnership agreement with My Place Hotels,” said Nick Esterline, president and founder of TGC Group. “Ryan and his team exemplify everything that we believe is true in regards to corporate culture and offering the best experience to our guests across the country.”

TGC plans to focus the initial development deal towards the Southeastern region of the U.S. The firm has five locations under active development with two scheduled to begin construction in the first quarter of 2023.
