Preferred Hotels & Resorts has added The Londoner to its Legend Collection.
Slated to open in the spring in Leicester Square, the hotel will have 350 rooms and suites, as well as a rooftop bar, an underground spa, two private screening rooms and food and beverage outlets. The property also will have a 6,092-square-foot, pillarless ballroom that accommodates up to 864 guests and can be divided into two sections.

In addition to The Londoner, new properties that joined the Legend Collection this year include Encore Boston Harbor, L’oscar Hotel London, Hotel Casa del Mar and Shutters on the Beach in California, the Inn at Perry Cabin in Maryland and The Fullerton Hotel Sydney.
Other destinations represented within the collection include: The Leela Palace Udaipur (Rajasthan, India); The Lodge & Spa at Brush Creek Ranch (Saratoga, Wyo.); Montage Los Cabos (Mexico); Baccarat Hotel (New York); Post Ranch Inn (Big Sur, Calif.); Hotel Unique (São Paulo, Brazil); Grand Hotel Tremezzo (Lake Como, Italy); The Broadmoor (Colorado); The Temple House (Chengdu, China); and The Thief (Oslo, Norway).
