Through a partnership with TEKMAK Development, Resolute Road Hospitality has been selected to manage a dual-branded Marriott hotel under development in Sherman, Texas.
The property is being developed within Sherman Crossroads, a master-planned mixed-use development with direct access to U.S. 75. The project is currently under construction and is expected to open in summer 2027.
The ground-up project will include a 123-room SpringHill Suites and a 108-room TownePlace Suites, for a total of 231 guestrooms. While the hotels will operate as separate brands, they will share amenities including a bar, more than 4,000 sq.-feet of meeting space, 1,750 sq.-feet of pre-function space and other common areas.
“Sherman represents the type of growth market where we see long-term opportunity, supported by corporate investment and strong demand fundamentals,” Daniel Pineiro, chief business development officer, Boise, Idaho-based Resolute Road Hospitality, said in a statement. “This project expands our growing presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth market, where we are already operating the DoubleTree by Hilton in Farmers Branch.”
