In honor of the buzzworthy hit Broadway show "Hamilton" premiering in Chicago this fall, Palmer House, A Hilton Hotel is unveiling themed Curtain Call menus for guests and theatergoers to enjoy. Located just across the street from the PrivateBank Theater where the performances will be held, the hotel provides an ideal setting for patrons to dine and drink pre and post-theater on Hamilton-inspired culinary offerings for a memorable experience.
From a pre-theater happy hour at Potter’s Lounge to a special Curtain Call menu at Lockwood Restaurant & Bar, there are several ways for guests to get into the Hamilton spirit. Coupled with a fun social media contest, following is what the hotel has in store during the show’s performances, starting Sept. 27, 2016 through March 19, 2017:
Pre-Theater Happy Hour at Potter’s Lounge:
Hotel guests and locals attending evening performances are invited to a pre-show happy hour experience at Potter’s Lounge. A special themed happy hour menu will be served, featuring hotel favorites such as the signature Palmer House Bloody Mary, Old Chicago Passage Maple Manhattan, and the Palmer House Select Bourbon. Additionally, the menu will feature a special Hamilton-inspired cocktail in the form of the Founding Father’s Hooch, a nod to colonial-era drinking with this twist on apple cider. A selection of small bites will also round out the menu, including the Palmer House’s signature cheese curds as well as themed snacks.

Pre/Post-Theater Curtain Call Menu at Lockwood Restaurant & Bar:
For a more formal dining experience before or after the show, guests and locals can book a reservation at Lockwood and enjoy a special three-course Curtain Call menu by executive chef Mathew Wiltzius. The meal will consist of a selection of dishes from Wiltzius' seasonal farmhouse-inspired American menu as well as a specially created Hamilton-inspired apple pie dessert, with a creative twist. For those with tickets to the afternoon showings of Hamilton, the Curtain Call menu will also be available for lunch.
Guests can also participate in the restaurant’s social media contest for a chance to win exciting prizes. To participate, guests are encouraged to share pictures of their Hamilton ticket receipts on Facebook and Twitter and tag Lockwood Restaurant & Bar with the hashtag #LockwoodDoesHamilton. The restaurant will select their favorite posts and the winners will receive prizes such as a complimentary dinner for two and more.
