Wyndham Rewards launches new exclusive member rates, updates website

Wyndham Rewards members can now save 10 percent off the best available rate at all Wyndham Rewards hotels globally when they book direct or through preferred corporate travel partners and approved travel agents. This new feature was soft launched just over a week ago, and it has no end date listed.

By booking direct, the new rate provides Wyndham Rewards members with last room availability across all room types, and does not require pre-payment. Cancellation policies vary by hotel. The rate does exclude partner properties, including those available from Caesars Entertainment and Wyndham Vacation Ownership, and it is not combinable with other rate discounts. However, it may be combined with registration-based offers, such as the current "Stay Twice Get a Free Night" promotion.

In addition to offering the new rate, WyndhamRewards.com has been updated to streamline the booking process and make it easier to locate hotels, condos and homes. The site may also be used to review previous and upcoming reservations, learn about new promotions and more.

The new site was built using responsive design, meaning it will adjust and adapt itself to any device or screen size it is accessed on. The website has been fully integrated with Masterpass and Visa Checkout, allowing Wyndham Rewards members to pay using their digital wallets. Previously, this feature was only available through the Wyndham Rewards app and WyndhamHotels.com. The website's member account page has also been updated to place a user's most-accessed information in front of them. This information includes membership details and benefits, as well as their stay history, upcoming reservations and more.

The previously mentioned "Stay Twice, Earn a Free Night" promotion is a new offering from Wyndham Rewards, which is available now through June 30th. Through the promotion, members will be able to earn 15,000 bonus points, in addition to any points earned normally, when completing two separate stays at any Wyndham Rewards-eligible hotel. This promotion is available to all Wyndham Rewards members globally, and is bookable via all direct channels, as well as preferred corporate travel partners and approved travel agents. The promotion is also combinable with other promotional offers (including the new rate), and no minimum length of stay is required. The stays must be completed by July 1, 2018, a registration at WyndhamRewards.com is required in advance of the stay and it is redeemable once per member.

Last year, Wyndham Rewards topped the third annual "CarTrawler Hotel Reward Payback Survey,” a list of the most rewarding loyalty programs in the industry, recording a 16.7-percent value for every dollar spent on hotel rates. In late March of last year, Wyndham Rewards surpassed 50 million members worldwide, and the program has added approximately 3 million more members as of today.
