Best Western Hotels & Resorts’ SVP and chief marketing officer Dorothy Dowling has been re-elected as president of the Global Business Travel Association's Allied Leadership Council.
“Dorothy is one of the industry’s longest-serving and most respected executives,” said Denise Truso, GBTA Board president. “She brings a wealth of knowledge to GBTA and in her second term as president of the ALC, I have no doubt that Dorothy will continue to contribute significantly to GBTA’s continued evolution.”
Dowling was also the recipient of the 2018 GBTA Allied Member of the Year award. Dowling has also contributed greatly to the success and innovation of the Best Western Hotels & Resorts brand, which has undergone a substantial transformation in recent years, according to the company. Dowling also serves as senior advisor of the Strategic Advisory Board for WINiT by GBTA, a network focused on the advancement of women professionals in the industry.
