Boettcher will lead operations across Evolution’s lifestyle, soft-brand, and premium portfolio, driving improvements in property performance, owner returns, and guest experiences.

"As lifestyle and soft brands remain one of the fastest-growing segments in hospitality, the expectations from both owners and guests have never been higher,” Chris Tatum, president of Full Service Division for Aimbridge and Evolution Hospitality, said in a statement. “Matthew brings the leadership, operational depth, and F&B track record we need to meet and exceed those expectations as we further expand our position in the segment. He's uniquely positioned to deliver distinctive experiences that drive strong results and increase profitability for owners."

Boettcher most recently served as vice president and category leader, premium and endorsed brands for Marriott International, where he led strategic initiatives for a portfolio of brands, including Autograph Collection, Tribute Portfolio, Westin, Renaissance and Le Méridien. In this role, he oversaw brand operations, supporting a broad portfolio of properties and growth, while advancing brand positioning, guest experience innovation and owner returns.

A sommelier with experience spanning luxury fine dining to large-scale premium hotel operations, he has designed distinctive bar & restaurant programs that strengthen brand identity, deliver operational excellence, improve F&B profitability and create elevated guest experiences.
