First Hospitality appoints David Lang as regional vice president of operations, full-service and lifestyle hotels. Lang brings more than 15 years of hospitality leadership experience to the position.
As regional vice president of operations, full-service and lifestyle hotels, Lang will provide strategic direction across a portfolio of hotels, driving financial performance, operational excellence, and guest satisfaction. He will work closely with general managers and property-level teams to execute brand standards, enhance service culture and optimize performance.
“David is a leader who not only drives results, but also builds teams that people want to be part of. His experience across hotel openings, brand repositionings, and developing dynamic restaurant and bar environments will play a key role in advancing our company’s growth strategy,” First Hospitality COO Dave Montrose said in a statement.
Lang has held leadership positions spanning operations, development and asset transformation. Lang’s experience includes New Waterloo, where he played a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, commercial strategy and strategic growth. Lang also served as the general manager of The LINE Austin, part of the Sydell Group, where he spearheaded the property's evolution into one of the nation's most acclaimed lifestyle hotels, earning widespread industry recognition. Earlier in his career, he held key leadership roles with Sydell Group, SBE Hotel Group, and OLS Hotels & Resorts.
