Hunter Hotel Advisors expands Capital Markets team

Hunter Hotel Advisors expands its newly established Capital Markets team with the appointment of Adeel Amin. Amin joins Hunter as senior vice president and will play a pivotal role in all aspects of debt and equity placement for the firm's listings, including underwriting and sourcing banking relationships for sponsors and GP/LP equity raises.

"We are thrilled to welcome Adeel to the team," said Teague Hunter, president and CEO of Hunter. “He has been widely regarded as the go-to resource for hospitality financing, and his addition to the team marks a significant milestone for Hunter as we continue to expand our services to best meet the needs of our clients.”

Before joining Hunter, Amin served as managing director at Paramount Capital Advisors, where he spearheaded a nine-figure debt advisory business for hotel owners. Despite tightening bank guidelines, Amin's ingenuity and expertise in deal structures enabled him to secure multiple eight-figure debt placements. Acting as a liaison between hotel owners and senior banking officials, he crafted effective capital solutions, even in cases where underlying assets had poor historical performance.

Prior to his tenure at Paramount Capital Advisors, Amin held the position of vice president of originations at Abco Capital Partners, a New York-based private lender. During his time there, he originated over $1 billion in projects requiring ground-up construction, bridge and preferred/mezzanine financing. Notably, Amin played a key role in securing government-backed financing for projects such as The Four Seasons Island Resort in Pembine, Wis., and the Pine Mountain Resort for a local real estate investment firm.
