Island Hospitality names SVP of commercial strategy

Island Hospitality Management names Mark George senior vice president of commercial strategy. In his new role, he will leverage his extensive experience to further strengthen and expand the company’s commercial initiatives, driving both short-term and long-term success for the company.

Since joining Island Hospitality in 2005 as a director of sales, George transitioned through several general manager roles before being promoted to vice president of sales in 2014 and then to senior vice president of sales in 2021, reflecting his unwavering commitment to adding value to the company. During his tenure at Island Hospitality, the sales teams he has led have achieved exceptional results, and over the last eight months, he has played a significant role in consolidating all pillars of sales from revenue management, digital sales and marketing and direct sales.
