Jumeirah International's Stefan Leser named CEO of Langham Hospitality

Langham Hospitality Group, a Great Eagle Holdings subsidiary, appointed Stefan Leser as CEO.

Leser, who will be based in Hong Kong, will oversee all aspects of the group’s global portfolio of hotels, resorts and residences. He will also implement organizational processes for all divisions and lead the company’s global expansion.

Leser has nearly 30 years of experience in the travel and hospitality industries. Most recently, he served at Jumeirah International the group CEO and a member of the board of directors. Leser was responsible for the opening of the Terrace at Burj Al Arab and the completion and launch of the Jumeirah Al Naseem hotel on the Arabian Gulf at the Dubai-based company. 
 
Leser held senior roles for more than a decade at Swiss travel services provider Kuoni Travel prior to joining Jumeirah. He directed the company’s travel businesses in the Nordics, UK, Benelux, India, China, Hong Kong and Switzerland as the EVP of the company's outbound and specialists division and an executive board member. Leser also spent six years working in the information technology industry with Swissair and EDS Corporation. He holds a MBA from Augusta State University of Georgia in the U.S.

Langham Hospitality Group's current expansion pipeline includes more than 30 projects confirmed or in a developed stage of negotiation in Asia, Europe, North America and the Middle East. These new properties will operate under the group's Langham Hotels and Resorts and Cordis Hotels brands.
