Mainsail Lodging & Development adds Brad Hayden as VP of finance

Florida-based hotel developer Mainsail Lodging & Development appointment Brad Hayden as the company’s VP of finance. Hayden will oversee the areas of finance, project accounting and hotel operational accounting, and work closely with Mainsail Lodging's senior leadership and key stakeholders to identify additional opportunities to grow the company's core domestic businesses.

“Brad is a seasoned veteran with a demonstrated ability to consistently exceed corporate financial targets,” Joe Collier, president of Mainsail Lodging, said in a statement. “We look forward to the deep insight he will bring to the team as we continue to drive growth and profitability.”

Hayden joins Mainsail Lodging from Faena Hotels & Residences in Miami Beach, Fla., where he served as VP of finance for two years. During his time there, he successfully managed two business interruption claims of $10 million combined, provided individual and consolidated financial statements for seven entities, restructured IT support and managed a $140 million district refinance.

Hayden also managed the companywide annual budget and business planning process at SBE Entertainment/SLS Hotels in South Florida, The Resort at Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and Benchmark Hospitality International, where he served as chief financial officer. Hayden earned his bachelor's degree in finance from California State University, Fullerton.
