Marcus Hotels & Resorts, Dimension Hospitality, Indigo Road appoint execs

Marcus Hotels & Resorts, Dimension Hospitality and Indigo Road have all named new leaders this week.

Marcus Hotels & Resorts

Marcus Hotels & Resorts appointed Tiffany Leadbetter Donato as its first chief investment officer. A hotel investment and asset management executive, Donato will oversee all transactional activities designed to fuel growth, including acquisitions, co-investments, and new third-party management contracts.

Donato has more than 25 years of experience leading complex transactions within the lodging industry. The majority of her career has been with Hyatt Hotels Corp. and its subsidiaries where she most recently served as senior vice president of capital strategy and real estate. In this role, she led strategic real estate transactions supporting Hyatt’s substantial asset recycling and capital redeployment initiatives, which included more than $14 billion in transaction volume over the past 15 years.

Donato previously held increasingly senior roles within the Hyatt family of companies responsible for corporate transactions, acquisitions and development as well as portfolio management.

Dimension Hospitality

Dimension Hospitality named Jeff Shockley executive vice president of development and analytics, responsible for growing the company’s portfolio of nearly 80 all-suite, full- and select-service hotels and expanding operational and analytical technologies.

In his previous role, Shockley helped develop and open more than 50 hotels under Marriott and Hilton flags and led the business intelligence team.

Shockley is a two-time GM of the year for the Fairfield brand and has helped dozens of current general managers advance in their careers through mentorship and training.

Indigo Road Hospitality Group

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group has promoted team members in its Lodging & Lifestyle Adventures division. Rising from general manager to senior director of lodging operations, Gabriel Perez will oversee the operations of a portfolio of boutique hotels in the Southeast.

Before his promotion, he was a general manager for Indigo Road. Before joining Indigo Road, Perez worked as a general manager for IHG Hotels & Resorts and Highgate. He also has worked for several other renowned hotel brands.

Stepping into the lodging operations director and task force manger role, Marcos Oliviera previously held the title of director of rooms at The Indigo Road for two years. Before that, he held general manager positions at properties for major brands.
