Those looking to nominate a candidate must complete the nomination form. The deadline for submissions is midnight GMT on January 15. All candidates need to be nominated by a sponsor from within their organization or by someone with direct work experience with the nominee.

Virtual Roundtable

Post COVID-19: The New Guest Experience

Join Hotel Management’s Elaine Simon for our latest roundtable—Post COVID-19: The New Guest Experience. The experts on the panel will share how to inspire guest confidence that hotels are safe and clean and how to win back guest business.

“We began this partnership with IHIF 10 years ago to recognize and foster young, talented individuals [who] are truly shaping the future of our industry,” said Andrea Belfanti, executive director of ISHC. “Each year we are humbled by the nominations we receive of the very best and brightest in our industry. We are honored to be part of the Young Leader Award and are thankful to our partners at IHIF. We look forward to receiving the nominations and presenting the award in Berlin.”

“As we celebrate 10 years of collaborative work with the ISHC, it feels prudent to reflect on how leadership, and therefore the ethos of this award, has changed and is continuing to change,” said Tess Pearson, event director, IHIF. “We know the next generation of leaders will require a very different skill set to those that came before them, with an emphasis on communication, empathy, flexibility and the importance of earning respect. The IHIF and ISHC Young Leader Award was created to shine a light on those who exemplify the leadership skills of their generation and we at Questex are delighted to continue to work with the ISHC and look forward to receiving this year’s nominations.”

The Young Leader Award will be presented during the IHIF Conference, March 4-6 at the InterContinental Berlin.
